Transmission Cooler line fittings

For the first tech tip of the year, we are going to cover transmission cooler fittings. On our transmissions we mainly use male -6AN fittings on our transmissions. This will allow you to use braided stainless or braided nylon hose to run transmission cooler lines to your transmission cooler. With our transmissions we recommend using an external transmission cooler and bypassing the radiator. We do supply new external transmission coolers when you purchase a transmission directly from us. The most common question is what fitting the pressure side is and what fitting is the return side. You can use the pictures below to help with this.
