for automatic transmissions C4, AOD, AODE, 4R70W. The fits small block Ford engines with either a 157 tooth or 164 tooth flexplate. Includes removable lower inspection cover. Block plate thickness is .060" thick. This is a required part when installing an automatic transmission to ensure the starter spacing is correct, and the torque converter has enough pull back.
