Description
Description
The Dakota Digital GPS-50-2 is a GPS-based Speed and Compass Sender, also known as a Bus Interface Module (BIM), designed to provide accurate vehicle speed and directional heading information without the need for a mechanical speedometer cable or driveshaft-mounted sensor. By receiving satellite signals, the GPS-50-2 delivers precise speed data to compatible Dakota Digital gauge systems.
This sender is ideal for installations where a traditional transmission-based speed sensor is impractical or unavailable, offering a clean, simplified wiring solution for speedometer calibration and compass heading output.
