The Dakota Digital SEN-01-4160 is a GM-thread pass-through pulse generator designed to provide an accurate electronic speed signal while maintaining compatibility with a factory speedometer cable connection. It threads into the GM-style transmission output and passes the mechanical drive through, allowing the original speedometer cable to remain connected while simultaneously generating an 8,000 pulse-per-mile sine wave output signal for electronic speedometers and other devices requiring vehicle speed input.
