Description
The Dakota Digital SEN-01-128 is a high-frequency GM-style pulse generator designed to fill the missing piece in the increasingly popular early-GM transmission swap. Late-model GM transmissions use an internal speed sensor that outputs 128,000 pulses per mile, which the stock ECM relies on for proper operation. When converting to an older-style transmission with a mechanical speedometer output, this signal is lost — the SEN-01-128 recreates it.
Featuring a standard female 7/8" thread-on fitting, this GM-thread pulse generator installs onto any GM transmission with a mechanical speedometer cable outlet, providing a 128,000 pulse per mile sine wave signal output as a direct replacement for the stock GM internal speed sensor, allowing the ECM to receive the signal it needs for proper operation.
Key Features
- Recreates the 128,000 pulse per mile high-frequency signal required by late-model GM ECMs
- Standard female 7/8" thread-on fitting for direct installation on GM transmissions
- Removable, weather-tight 10' cable for simple installation and cable routing
- 3-wire design outputs a sine wave signal as a direct replacement for the stock GM internal speed sensor
