It includes a 12-inch high-performance furnace-brazed torque converter with a carbon fiber clutch and a stall range of 1,600 to 2,200 RPM. A 29-element dual cage sprag, a high-capacity 10-vane pump assembly, and Sonnax valve body updates improve durability and shift quality without changing how the vehicle drives day to day.

Level 2: 400 HP, 400 lb-ft of Torque

Level 2 steps up holding power for engines pushing closer to their limits. It uses the same 12-inch high-performance converter and 1,600 to 2,200 RPM stall range as Level 1, with an added extra-capacity 3-4 clutch drum assembly for increased durability under higher load. This level suits drivers who want extra margin for mild performance upgrades while keeping daily-driver manners.

Level 3: 500 HP, 500 lb-ft of Torque

Level 3 introduces a custom-built and custom-stalled 10-inch or 11-inch lock-up billet converter with a 2,600 to 3,200 RPM stall range, built for engines making real street performance power. Raybestos Stage 1 frictions, a heavy-duty expanded-capacity input drum with a reinforcing sleeve, and a Corvette-style servo support firmer, more consistent shifts under load.

Level 4: 650 HP, 600 lb-ft of Torque

Level 4 is built for serious street and strip applications. It includes a custom-built and custom-stalled 9.5-, 10-, or 11-inch lock-up billet racing converter with a 2,600 to 4,000 RPM stall range, a heavy-duty 5-pinion front and rear planetary gear set, and a hardened output shaft. A wide carbon fiber 2-4 band and Super Hold 4th servo add holding capacity for high-horsepower combinations.

Level 5: 700 HP, 650 lb-ft of Torque

Level 5 is Gearstar's top-tier 4L60E 2WD build, designed for high-horsepower racing applications. It pairs a custom-built and custom-stalled 9.5- or 10-inch lock-up billet racing converter with a 3,200-plus RPM stall range, Raybestos Stage 1 racing frictions, a billet 13-vane pump rotor, and a hardened reaction shaft and hub.
