Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-47C-PU-K is a direct-fit HDX Series instrument system engineered specifically for 1947-53 Chevy and GMC pickups, featuring black alloy gauge-face styling. Rather than relying on adapter rings and undersized round gauges, this system uses a chrome-plated, machined aluminum instrument housing that replaces the stock bezel for an exact fit into the factory dash opening.
Each gauge combines traditional analog movements with a full-color TFT display and a pair of capacitive-touch buttons, allowing extensive personalization of needle colors, sweep colors, and digital display colors. Calibration and personal settings can be adjusted directly through the onboard touch buttons or through the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. A central control box simplifies installation by sourcing signals from the vehicle harness and connecting supplied, solid-state sending units cleanly to their respective terminals.
Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons, and every HDX system includes dead-faced indicators along with a red, settable warning light built into each gauge for quick notice of a warning condition.
