Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-47C-PU-S is a direct-fit HDX instrument system engineered specifically for 1947-53 Chevy and GMC pickups, replacing bulky adapter rings and small round gauges with a true drop-in solution. The chrome plated, machined aluminum instrument housing replaces the stock bezel for an exact fit into the original dashboard opening, while each gauge features a full-color TFT display paired with capacitive-touch buttons for complete personalization.
This system is finished with a silver alloy gauge face and allows independent control of illumination colors for gauge readings, needles, and message centers. Calibration and personal settings can be adjusted using the built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the buttons, and the system includes dead-faced indicators along with a settable red warning light for each gauge.
A central control box simplifies installation by sourcing signals from the vehicle harness and connecting supplied, solid state sending units cleanly to their respective terminals.

Notes
Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed. The cable driven speed sensor requires approximately 5" of clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction; part number 130011 (sold separately) allows for relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required. Gear position indicator requires the optional GSS-3000 sensor, sold separately. Any dash modifications required for fitment should be made to the vehicle rather than the HDX instrument system to preserve warranty coverage.
