Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-57F-PU-X Instrument System brings late-model electronics to the 1957-60 Ford Pickup while retaining the stock, OEM appearance of the original dash layout. Every effort has been made to incorporate original design elements regarding layout, face styling, and indicators, so the system looks right at home at a casual glance, while the LED backlighting and TFT message center reveal its modern capabilities once powered on.
CNC-machined housings are filled with in-house designed electronics, and a high-definition TFT message center can be configured to display a wide range of vehicle information. A central control box simplifies installation and setup, and the system is calibrated and operated through an included pushbutton switch or the optional Bluetooth mobile app.

Included Sensors
- Water Temperature: 1/8" NPT, ground isolated sensor with 10 ft harness
- Oil Pressure: 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with 10 ft harness
- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces Ford and/or GM style speedometer cables with 10 ft harness; requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction (Part # 130011, sold separately, allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- System uses the OEM bezel; bezel is not included
- Optional GSS-3000 sensor required for gear position indicator
- Optional DIM-1 accessory available for on-the-fly rotary dimmer control
- Optional GPS-50-2 negates the need to calibrate the speedometer
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
