Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-57C-X RTX Instrument System brings a fully modernized electronic gauge package to your 1957 Chevy car while retaining the stock, original appearance. At a glance it looks like a factory three-gauge cluster, but it actually delivers six readings, with the tachometer, oil pressure and voltmeter displayed as hidden LED bar graphs that only appear when the key is on. A large TFT message center sits front and center, surrounded by analog styling that stays true to the original 1957 design. This system is built to fit into your original cast housing. Chrome rings and the matching RLC-57C clock are available separately.
The RTX series represents Dakota Digital's latest approach to instrumentation, focused on preserving OEM design elements in layout, face styling and indicators while adding the late-model features enthusiasts want. Once the LED backlighting is activated in your chosen color scheme, the system reveals its true capability well beyond that of a factory cluster.
Each RTX gauge housing is CNC machined and filled with electronics designed and built in-house by Dakota Digital. The high-definition TFT message center can be configured to display a wide variety of information, and a central control box simplifies installation and setup. The gauge pod and chrome inserts are not included and are shown for presentation purposes only; the system is designed to use an OEM or reproduction style gauge pod and chrome inserts.

Included Sensors
- Water Temperature: 1/8" NPT, ground isolated sensor with a 10 ft harness
- Oil Pressure: 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with a 10 ft harness
- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: Replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness; sensor requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- Gauge pod and chrome inserts are not included; system is designed to use an OEM or reproduction style gauge pod and chrome inserts
- Replacement chrome inserts (BZL-57C) and the matching RLC-57C clock are available separately
- Gear Position indicator requires the optional GSS-3000 sensor
- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required; Tremec and Ford style adaptors available on request
- DIM-1 accessory available separately for on-the-fly rotary brightness control
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
