The Dakota Digital HDX-58C-VET-S is a direct-fit HDX instrument system engineered for the unique dash of the 1958-62 Chevy Corvette. This high-tech gauge package reuses your painted, cast dash housing and includes chrome bezels, bringing twin TFT message centers and modern electronics to this classic dash while retaining an authentic appearance.
Featuring a silver alloy gauge-face finish, the HDX system allows independent control of illumination colors for gauge readings, needles, and message centers. The system connects to nearly any engine and transmission combination, with calibration and personalization handled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons.
All HDX instrument systems include dead-faced indicators for turn signals, high beam, check engine, cruise control, and parking brake, plus two user-definable indicators, along with a red, settable warning light for each gauge. The central control box simplifies installation by sourcing signals from the vehicle harness and pairing with supplied, solid-state sending units for clean terminal connections.

Notes
- Dash housing is not included; system uses the OEM or reproduction style instrument housing
- Gear Position indicator requires the optional GSS-3000 sensor
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required
- The HLC-58C-VET clock unit is available as a complementary accessory that fits the factory clock housing and connects to the main HDX control box; it cannot be used alone
- DIM-1 is a common accessory for adding on-the-fly rotary brightness control
