The Dakota Digital HDX-68C-VET-S HDX System brings a fully digital instrument upgrade to the 1968-77 Chevy Corvette "Mako Shark" with a direct-fit design, eliminating the need to cut up hard-to-find dash parts to accommodate universal gauges. The speedometer and tachometer, each featuring full-color TFT message displays, are positioned front and center, while essential satellite gauges and an analog clock reside in the center console panel. This version features silver alloy gauge-face styling to complement the Corvette's interior.
Supplied sensors allow seamless integration with nearly any engine combination, whether stock, modified, or a late-model swap. Users can independently select illumination colors for gauge readings, needles, and message centers, with calibration and personal settings managed through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons.
All HDX instrument systems feature dead-faced indicators for turn signals, high beam, check engine, cruise control, and parking brake, plus two user-definable indicators, along with a red, settable warning light built into each gauge sweep. The central control box simplifies installation by sourcing signals from the vehicle harness and connecting supplied, solid-state sending units cleanly to their respective terminals.

- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads

- Bezel not included; system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel
- Gear Position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor (sold separately)
- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required; Tremec and Ford style adaptors available on request
- DIM-1 is a common accessory for adding on-the-fly rotary brightness control (sold separately)
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
