The Dakota Digital HDX-58C-IMP-S is a complete HDX instrument system engineered specifically for the 1958 Chevy Impala, featuring a silver alloy gauge-face styling. As the grown-up brother to the tri-fives, the 1958 Impala introduced GM's new X-frame design along with an updated dashboard, and this HDX system brings that dash up to current standards while retaining a classic appearance. Twin TFT message centers provide full-color, real-time status updates on the drivetrain, accommodating anything from a 283 to an LSA and everything in between.
Calibration and personal settings are manipulated through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the buttons. With the included central control box, installation is simplified through vehicle-harness sourced signals and supplied solid-state sending units that connect cleanly to their respective terminals.
This system requires the vehicle's stock instrument housing and front bezel trim; the bezel is not included and is shown for visual/presentation purposes only. The system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel.

Included Sensors
- Water Temperature: 1/8" NPT ground isolated sensor with a 10 ft harness

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces GM style speedometer cables, 10 ft harness; requires approximately 5" of clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction (Part # 130011 available separately for relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
