Description
Upgrade the instrumentation in a 1969-70 Ford Mustang with the Dakota Digital HDX System in black face styling. This drop-in system uses the stock instrument housing and bezel, and includes new clear lenses for a factory-fit appearance with modern capability. Two full-color TFT message centers deliver a wealth of information alongside traditional analog gauge readings.
The HDX System allows independent selection of illumination colors for gauge readings, needles, and message centers, with over 30 user-selectable color options and 12 factory preset themes for quick customization. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the onboard capacitive-touch buttons. Calibration and personal settings can be adjusted through the built-in buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices.
A central control box simplifies installation by sourcing signals from the vehicle harness and connecting supplied, solid-state sending units cleanly to their respective terminals. The system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel; bezel not included.
