Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-70C-CAM-X Instrument System is styled after the original equipment found in 1970-78 Chevy Camaros, designed to fit a stock or reproduction instrument bezel. This kit also fits 1979-81 bezels, but does not fit Firebird applications. Side by side with a stock cluster, the RTX system is nearly indistinguishable until the key is turned, at which point the LED backlighting and TFT displays reveal its late-model capability.
Every effort has been made to incorporate OEM design elements in the layout, face styling, and indicators, while a pair of high-definition TFT message centers can be configured to display a wide range of information. CNC machined housings are filled with in-house designed electronics, and a central control box simplifies installation and setup.
Full LED backlighting provides strikingly sharp contrast for easy viewing day or night, with over 30 user-selectable color options for needle, sweep, and digital display colors, plus 12 factory preset color themes for quick customization.

Notes
- Instrument bezel is not included; system is designed to use an OEM or reproduction style bezel
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- Gear Position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor, sold separately
- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required; Tremec and Ford style adaptors available on request
- DIM-1 is a common accessory for on-the-fly rotary brightness control, sold separately
- Speedometer calibration is not required when used with GPS-50-2
