Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-80F-PU-X is a direct-fit RTX Series instrument system designed for 1980-86 Ford "bull nose" pickups and Broncos. Built to retain the stock appearance of the original dash while adding modern capability, the RTX series incorporates OEM-style design elements in its layout, face styling, and indicators so the system looks right at home in a classic Ford interior.
Each gauge housing is CNC machined and filled with electronics engineered and built in-house by Dakota Digital. A high-definition TFT message center can be configured to display a wide range of vehicle information, while full LED backlighting delivers sharp, easy-to-read graphics day or night. A central control box simplifies installation and setup.
This system uses the OEM bezel; the bezel itself is not included and is shown for visual/presentation purposes only.

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces Ford and/or GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness; requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 thread bushings

Notes

- Gear position indicator requires the optional GSS-3000 sensor
- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required
- DIM-1 accessory available for on-the-fly rotary brightness control
- GPS-50-2 may be used to eliminate the need for speedometer calibration
