The Dakota Digital RTX-87F-MUS-X Instrument System is a direct-fit replacement designed for 1987-89 Ford Mustang Fox Body applications, retaining the stock appearance of the factory cluster while delivering modern electronics behind the scenes. Whether your Mustang still runs a stock 5.0 Liter or has been upgraded with a modern powerplant, the RTX system is compatible with any combination.
Dakota Digital's RTX series focuses on preserving the OEM look with correct layout, face styling, and indicators, so a casual glance may mistake it for original equipment. Once the LED backlighting is activated in your chosen color scheme, the technology becomes apparent. CNC machined housings are filled with in-house designed electronics, and the high-definition TFT message center can be configured to display a wide range of information. A central control box simplifies installation and setup.
This system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel; the bezel itself is not included.

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator replacing Ford and/or GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness (requires approximately 5" clearance between cable drive output and any obstruction; Part # 130011 sold separately allows pulse generator relocation when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushing kit including 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT bushings along with bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
