The Dakota Digital GRFX-73C-PU Grafix Series instrument system is a direct bolt-in upgrade for 1973-87 Chevy Trucks, delivering one of the boldest interior transformations available for these classic trucks. Designed to integrate with any drivetrain, this system combines modern features and technology with extensive customization options.
The Grafix Series allows users to customize nearly every aspect of the instrument display. A variety of graphic themes can be selected, with each element further personalized with unique display colors and warning modes. Each gauge location can be configured as Analog, Digital, or Bar-graph style, and displays can show readings individually, in grouped pairs, or reconfigured entirely to show different data.
The system also introduces reverse backup video display integration, onboard GPS-based automatic speedometer calibration, built-in Bluetooth connectivity with the Dakota Digital App, a USB port for field updates, and an integrated G-force meter. An external control module keeps wiring organized for a clean installation. Engineered and produced in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, this system carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

- Cable-driven speed sensor/generator replacing GM-style speedometer cables, with 10 ft harness (requires approximately 5" clearance between cable drive output and any obstruction; relocation part #130011 sold separately when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushing set including 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 thread bushings
Calibration and Use
- Two-sided pushbutton rocker switch included for setup and menu navigation
- Compatible with the Dakota Digital mobile app (Android and Apple) for configuration and real-time gauge readouts
- Speedometer and fuel level calibration completed via pushbutton switch or Bluetooth app and a short test drive (speedometer calibration not required when optional GPS-50-2 is used)
Notes
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions are replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed for the application
- Backup camera, GSS-3000 gear position sensor, DIM-1 dimming knob, SEN-03-9 oil pressure sensor, GPS-50-2 module, and part #130011 relocation adaptor are optional accessories sold separately
