4L65E 4x4 Transmission

The 4L65E 4x4 Level 3 is rated up to 500 HP and 450 ft-lbs of torque at the crankshaft, with a 10" or 11" lock-up billet converter stalled between 2600-3200 RPM. It uses an OE-style 4-pinion planetary gear set and is built for daily-driven trucks and moderately upgraded LS-powered 4x4s.

The 4L65E 4x4 Level 4 steps up to 600 HP and 500 ft-lbs of torque at the crankshaft. It adds a heavy-duty 5-pinion front and rear planetary gear set with sun gear, a hardened output shaft, and a 9.5", 10", or 11" lock-up billet racing converter stalled between 2600-4000 RPM. This level is built for trucks pulling heavier loads or running higher horsepower LS combinations.

Built for LS Engines and 13-Pin Controllers

Every 4L65E 4x4 transmission is designed to attach to an LS engine and features a 13-pin main harness connector. If the transmission is going into a factory application, verify the pin count matches your factory computer before ordering. Non-factory applications require a standalone transmission controller, such as the US Shift Quick4.
