Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-49F-X RTX Instrument System is a direct-fit instrument upgrade for 1949-50 Ford cars, designed to retain the stock appearance while delivering modern electronic features. The system includes a chrome plated, billet aluminum bezel and a CNC machined aluminum housing that faithfully reproduces the original gauge layout, face styling and indicators.
Each RTX system combines traditional analog gauges with a full color TFT message center and full LED backlighting, allowing the driver to display a wide range of vehicle information while retaining a classic, OEM-style look. The electronics are designed and built in-house by Dakota Digital, and the system utilizes a central control box for simplified installation and setup.
With over 30 user-selectable color options and 12 factory preset color themes, the RTX-49F-X can be configured to match nearly any interior or personal preference, while independently adjustable needle, sweep and digital display colors allow for further customization.

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator with 10 ft harness, replaces Ford and/or GM style speedometer cables (requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction; part # 130011, sold separately, allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT, plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 thread bushings

Notes
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions may be replaced; unused indicators can be repurposed as needed for the application
- Optional DIM-1 accessory available for on-the-fly rotary brightness control
- Speedometer and fuel level calibration are typically completed via the pushbutton switch or Bluetooth app and a short test drive, unless a GPS-50-2 is used, which eliminates the need for speedometer calibration
