The Dakota Digital RTX-55-GMC-X is a complete RTX instrument system engineered specifically for the 1955-59 GMC truck, built to fill the stock dash panel while utilizing the factory mounting points for a installation that requires no panel modification. New CNC machined, chrome-plated aluminum gauge trim rings are included with the system.
The RTX series retains the stock gauge look while adding modern features, with careful attention paid to OEM-style layout, face styling, and indicators. At a glance the system appears factory-original, but once powered on, full LED backlighting in your choice of color scheme reveals the advanced technology within.
CNC machined housings contain electronics designed and built in-house by Dakota Digital, including high-definition TFT message centers that can be configured to display a wide range of vehicle information. As with other Dakota Digital systems, the RTX series utilizes a central control box to simplify installation and setup.

- Full RGB LED backlighting for strong visibility day and night
- Pushbutton rocker switch control for setup and operation, with button-press feedback via the TFT message center or included buzzer
- Configurable through the free Dakota Digital mobile app for Android and Apple devices, enabling menu navigation and real-time gauge readouts

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces GM style speedometer cables, includes a 10 ft harness; sensor requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction (Part # 130011, sold separately, allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads

Notes
- Bezel/facia is not included; system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel/facia
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed for your application

- On-the-fly rotary brightness control can be added using the optional DIM-1 accessory
