The Dakota Digital RTX-55C-X Instrument System brings 21st century technology to the classic 1955-56 Chevy car dashboard. Designed to retain the stock cluster appearance, this system features a full-color TFT message center and user-adjustable LED backlighting, including a mesh pattern behind the speedometer needle for an authentic vintage look. The casual observer will assume it's original equipment until the key is turned and the customizable lighting comes to life.
Every detail of the RTX-55C-X has been engineered to incorporate OEM-style layout, face styling, and indicators while delivering the late-model features drivers want. CNC-machined housings house in-house designed electronics, and a high-definition TFT message center can be configured to display a wide range of information. A central control box simplifies installation and setup.
This system uses a stock or reproduction style bezel, which is not included and must be sourced separately. An RLC-55C clock is available separately to complete the passenger side of the dash.

Included Sensors

- Cable driven speed sensor/generator replacing GM-style speedometer cables, with 10 ft harness (requires approximately 5" clearance between cable drive output and any obstruction)
- Bushings for 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT, plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- Bezel not included; system is designed to use a stock or reproduction style bezel
- Instrument system eliminates the stock automatic gear shift indicator above the steering column; add GSS-3000 Gear Shift Sensor (sold separately) to display gear position
- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required; Tremec and Ford style adaptors available on request
- DIM-1 accessory available separately for on-the-fly rotary brightness control
- RLC-55C clock available separately to complete the passenger side dash
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
