Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-59C-CAD-X Instrument System brings late-model technology to the classic 1959 Cadillac while respecting the original OEM gauge cluster layout. Every effort has been made to incorporate OEM design elements in the layout, face styling and indicators, so at a casual glance the system appears to be factory original. Once the lighting is activated, however, the fully configurable LED backlighting and high-definition TFT message centers reveal just how far beyond stock this system truly goes.
Starting from scratch, CNC machined housings are filled with electronics designed and built in-house by Dakota Digital. The system utilizes a central control box to simplify installation and setup, and allows simple integration with OEM or aftermarket powerplants. A 12-hour analog clock is included.

- Cable driven speed sensor/generator replacing GM style speedometer cables, with 10 ft harness (requires approximately 5" clearance between cable drive output and any obstruction; Part # 130011 available separately for relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT, plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 thread bushings

Notes

- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
