Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-68C-VET-K is a direct-fit HDX instrument system engineered specifically for 1968-77 "Mako Shark" Chevy Corvettes, eliminating the need to cut or modify your hard-to-find dash components as required with universal gauge kits. This system features black alloy gauge-face styling, with the speedometer and tachometer positioned front and center, complete with full-color TFT message displays, while the satellite gauges and an analog clock reside in the center console panel.
Supplied sensors allow seamless integration with nearly any engine, whether stock, modified, or a late-model swap. Independent illumination colors can be selected for the gauge readings, needles, and message centers, with calibration and personalization handled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons.
The system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel; a bezel is not included.

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces GM style speedometer cables, includes 10 ft harness; sensor requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction (part # 130011, sold separately, allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 thread bushings
Notes
Bezel is not included; system is designed to use an OEM or reproduction style bezel. Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed. Gear Position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor. DIM-1 accessory available for on-the-fly rotary brightness control.
