Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-68C-CVL-K is a direct-fit instrument system designed for 1968 Chevelle, Malibu, and El Camino models, replacing the factory dual-square gauge layout with a full analog and digital readout package. This version features a black alloy gauge-face styling to complement a wide range of interior themes.
The system combines six analog gauge readings with a pair of TFT digital message centers, all controlled through a central control box that simplifies installation by using vehicle-harness sourced signals along with supplied, solid-state sending units. Independent illumination colors can be selected for the gauge readings, needles, and message centers, allowing drivers to personalize the look of their dash.
Calibration and personal settings are managed through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons, and the system is designed to use an OEM or reproduction style bezel.
