Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-78C-VET-S is a direct bolt-in instrument system designed for 1978-82 Chevy Corvettes, bringing fully customizable digital technology to the classic cockpit-style interior. This system features silver alloy gauge-face styling and installs into the stock instrument bezels and housings for a factory-correct appearance.
Each HDX system pairs analog gauges with a pair of full-color TFT message centers, allowing independent illumination color selection for gauge readings, needles, and message center displays. Calibration and personal settings are controlled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Needle hubs are black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons.
Installation is simplified through a central control box that sources signals from the vehicle harness and connects to supplied solid-state sending units at their respective terminals.
