The Dakota Digital HDX-53C-VET-S is a direct-fit instrument system engineered specifically for 1953-57 Chevy Corvette applications, featuring a silver alloy gauge-face styling. This 7-gauge kit (including clock) slides directly into the OEM gauge openings and includes new chrome bezels, offering a seamless upgrade to high-tech functionality without altering the original dashboard appearance.
This HDX system offers twin TFT message centers along with the ability to connect to nearly any engine/transmission combination. Users can independently select illumination colors for gauge readings, needles, and message centers, with calibration and personal settings managed through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to complement the button finish.
All HDX instrument systems feature dead-faced indicators and a red, settable warning light for each gauge. A central control box simplifies installation with vehicle-harness sourced signals and supplied, solid-state sending units that connect cleanly to their respective terminals.

Notes
- Gear Position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor (sold separately)
- Speed sensor requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction; part number 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is needed
- Tremec and Ford style speed sensor adaptors available on request
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- DIM-1 is a common accessory for on-the-fly rotary brightness control
- GPS-50-2 can be used to eliminate the need for speedometer calibration
