Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-66C-CVL-K is a direct-fit HDX instrument system engineered specifically for the 1966-67 Chevy Chevelle, Malibu, and El Camino. Designed to fit the long, narrow factory instrument housing, this system blends six analog gauge sweeps with a large, full-color TFT message center, bringing a modern interior upgrade without altering the classic appearance of the dash. This version features Black Alloy gauge-face styling.
Owners can independently select illumination colors for the gauge readings, needles, and message center displays, with calibration and personal settings managed through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons. The system also includes dead-faced indicators for turn signals, high beam, check engine, cruise control, parking brake, and two user-definable functions, along with a red, settable warning light built into each gauge.
Installation is simplified through a central control box that sources signals from the vehicle harness and connects to supplied, solid-state sending units. This system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel, which is not included.

Notes

- DIM-1 is a common accessory for adding on-the-fly rotary brightness control
