The Dakota Digital RTX-69C-IMP-X RTX Instrument System is purpose-built for the 1969-70 Chevy Caprice and Impala, delivering a factory-correct appearance combined with modern electronic performance. Dakota Digital engineered this system to retain the stock gauge layout, face styling, and indicator placement so it blends seamlessly with the original dash, while offering the advanced features and configurability of a late-model digital instrument cluster.
Each RTX system starts with CNC machined gauge housings and in-house designed electronics, including a high-definition TFT message center capable of displaying a wide range of vehicle information. Installation and setup are simplified through a central control box, and the system is fully controllable via the included pushbutton rocker switch or the Dakota Digital mobile app for Android and Apple devices.
Full LED backlighting with RGB capability allows independent color selection for needles, sweep, and digital display, letting owners dial in an OE look or something bolder. The bezel is not included with this system; it uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel.

Notes
- Bezel not included; system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel
- Cable driven speed sensor requires approximately 5" of clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction; part number 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is needed
- Gear position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor (sold separately)
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions are replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
