Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-69C-CVL-X Instrument System brings modern electronics to the 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle, Malibu, and El Camino while retaining the factory dash appearance. Designed as a bolt-in replacement using the stock dash bezel and components, this system gives you the classic 1969 look with the performance features you want. The package includes a clock, tachometer, and analog readings for oil pressure, temperature, volts, and fuel level, along with LEDs to illuminate the factory turn signal locations.
As part of the RTX series, this system is built to retain the stock appearance without sacrificing late-model features. Extensive effort was placed into replicating OEM layout, face styling, and indicator design so the gauges appear factory at a casual glance. Once illuminated, the LED backlighting in your chosen color scheme reveals the advanced technology hidden within.
Each RTX gauge cluster starts with a CNC-machined housing filled with electronics engineered and built in-house by Dakota Digital. High-definition TFT message centers can be configured to display a wide range of vehicle information, and a central control box simplifies installation and setup.

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: Replaces GM style speedometer cables, includes 10 ft harness (sensor requires approximately 5" clearance between cable drive output and any obstruction; part number 130011 available separately for relocation when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- Bezel not included; system uses the OEM or a reproduction style bezel
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed for your application
- An optional DIM-1 accessory is available for on-the-fly rotary dimmer control
