The RTX-70C-CVL-X Instrument System brings Dakota Digital's latest RTX technology to the 1970-72 Chevy Chevelle SS, Monte Carlo, El Camino and 1971 GMC Sprint SP, retaining the classic six round gauge opening layout that muscle car purists expect while delivering the late-model features pro-touring enthusiasts crave. Two high-definition TFT message centers are built into the gauge faces, displaying essential information with the ability to call up additional readings for the serious driver. Green, blue and red LEDs illuminate the stock-style turn signal, high beam and brake indicators for an authentic factory appearance.
Designed as a bolt-in upgrade, this system installs into a stock or reproduction gauge carrier and bezel, both available separately. Every effort has been made to incorporate OEM design elements in the layout, face styling and indicators, so the system looks right at home at a casual glance. Once the LED backlighting is switched on, the full-color customization capability becomes apparent, allowing the owner to dial in a look that is anywhere from subtle and OE-correct to bold and modern.
Each CNC-machined housing is filled with electronics designed and built in-house by Dakota Digital. The system is operated through a central control box and a two-sided pushbutton rocker switch, simplifying installation, calibration and day-to-day operation. Configuration can also be handled through Dakota Digital's free mobile app for Android and Apple devices.

Notes
- Bezel not included; system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel and gauge carrier, both available separately
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as desired
- DIM-1 accessory available for on-the-fly rotary brightness control
- GPS-50-2 can be used to eliminate the need for speedometer calibration
