Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-70C-MAL-S is a drop-in HDX instrument system designed for 1970-72 Chevy Malibu, non-SS Chevelle, and El Camino models equipped with the sweep-style cluster. This system replaces the original indicator strip with a full digital/analog instrument package, featuring six analog gauges, a large TFT message center for auxiliary readings, a new front lens, and rear housing, all finished in silver face styling.
Each HDX system allows independent illumination color selection for gauge readings, needles, and the message center. Calibration and personal settings are controlled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Needle hubs are black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons.
Installation is simplified with a central control box that uses vehicle-harness sourced signals along with supplied solid state sending units that connect cleanly to their respective terminals. The system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel, which is not included.

Notes
- Bezel not included; system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed

- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required
