Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-70C-CVL-K is a bolt-in HDX instrument system designed for 1970-72 Chevy Chevelle SS, Monte Carlo, El Camino, and 1971 GMC Sprint SP models with the SS-style dash. This system features Black Alloy face styling and combines six analog gauge sweeps with a pair of TFT message center displays for a clean, modern upgrade that retains the factory look.
Original locations for turn signal, high beam, and brake indicators are updated with LEDs, and the system screws directly into the original or aftermarket gauge carrier, which is available separately. Users can independently select illumination colors for the gauge readings, needles, and message centers, with calibration and personal settings controlled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices.
Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the buttons, and the system features dead-faced indicators for turn signals, high beam, check engine, cruise control, parking brake, plus two user-definable indicators, along with a red, settable warning light for each gauge. A central control box simplifies installation with vehicle-harness sourced signals and supplied solid state sending units.

Notes
Gauge bezel not included; system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel. The gauge carrier (sold separately) is required for installation. Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed. Gear position indicator requires the optional GSS-3000 sensor, sold separately. Part # 130011 allows for relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required and is sold separately.
