Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-70O-CUT-X System brings a 21st-century instrumentation upgrade to the 1970-72 Oldsmobile Cutlass/442 while retaining the familiar factory look of the original round-gauge dash. A quad-pack of auxiliary gauges is positioned on the left side, an OEM-styled speedometer and programmable message display occupy the center, and a clock along with an LED bar-graph tachometer fill the right-side location.
The RTX series is built to retain that stock appearance without sacrificing modern features. Extensive attention has been paid to OEM design elements in layout, face styling, and indicators, so at a casual glance the system could pass for original equipment. Once powered on, the full LED backlighting reveals a wide range of customizable color options that set this system apart.
Each system starts with CNC-machined housings filled with electronics designed and built in-house by Dakota Digital. High-definition TFT message centers can be configured to display a wide range of vehicle information, and a central control box simplifies installation and setup.
