The RTX-78C-VET-X RTX Instrument System brings modern electronics to your 1978-82 Chevy Corvette while retaining a stock appearance. Designed as a direct fit replacement, this system installs using your stock gauge bezels and features two TFT message centers, full LED backlighting, and a host of late-model features in a classic layout.
The RTX series is the latest from Dakota Digital, focused on retaining that stock look without sacrificing late-model features. Extensive effort has gone into incorporating OEM design elements regarding layout, face styling, and indicators, so that at a casual glance these gauges appear to be original equipment. Once illuminated, the LED backlighting reveals a wide range of available color schemes.
Starting from scratch, CNC machined housings are filled with electronics designed and built in-house by Dakota Digital. The high-definition TFT message centers can be fully configured to display a wide range of information, and the RTX series utilizes a central control box to simplify installation and setup.

- Bushings for 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT, along with 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 thread applications

- DIM-1 accessory (sold separately) available for on-the-fly rotary dimmer control
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- Speedometer calibration can be bypassed with use of GPS-50-2 (sold separately)
