Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-90C-CAM-X is a complete RTX Series instrument system designed for the 1990-92 Chevy Camaro. Built to retain the stock dash appearance while delivering modern electronic capability, this system incorporates OEM-style design elements in its layout, face styling, and indicators so the gauges blend seamlessly with the original dash. System uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel, which is not included.
Each RTX system features CNC machined housings with electronics engineered and built in-house by Dakota Digital. A high-definition TFT message center can be configured to display a wide range of vehicle information, and a central control box simplifies installation and setup.
Full LED backlighting provides strong contrast and visibility day or night, with over 30 user-selectable color options for needle color, sweep color, and digital display color. Twelve factory preset color themes are included, or users can fully customize each color zone to their preference.

Included Sensors
- Water Temperature: 1/8" NPT ground isolated sensor with a 10 ft harness
- Oil Pressure: 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with a 10 ft harness
- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness; requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction (Part # 130011 available separately for relocating the pulse generator when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- Bezel not included; system is designed to use an OEM or reproduction style bezel
- Gear Position indicator requires the optional GSS-3000 sensor (sold separately)
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- On-the-fly rotary brightness control can be added with the optional DIM-1 accessory
