Description
The Dakota Digital Grafix Series GRFX-69C-CAM is a direct drop-in upgrade for the 1969 Chevy Camaro's stock or reproduction plastic bezel (available separately). With the key off, the gauge face maintains an all but OEM appearance, featuring a large speedometer and tachometer, while powering up reveals the full capability of this customizable digital instrument system. Stock lenses and indicator rings are replaced with matte black aluminum trim rings, supplied with the kit.
The Grafix Series allows users to customize nearly every aspect of the instrument display, including graphic themes, display colors, and warning modes. Each gauge location can be configured as Analog, Digital, or Bar-graph style, shown singly, grouped in pairs, or reconfigured entirely. The system also supports integration of an optional reverse backup video display shown directly within the largest onboard display, as well as onboard GPS technology for automatic, no-touch speedometer calibration using a wired VSS input.
Built-in Bluetooth connectivity links to the free Dakota Digital App for configuration, calibration, and real-time diagnostics, while the USB access port allows for future field updates and new graphic theme imports. An integrated G-force meter adds a graphical display of real-time driving dynamics. As with all Dakota Digital systems, an external control module keeps wiring organized and the gauge cluster installation clean.
