The Dakota Digital RTX-50M-X Instrument System brings a modern electronic dash to the 1950-51 Mercury while retaining the beautiful stock appearance of the original design. Built to pay tribute to Mercury styling, this system replaces the factory AM radio location to make way for a complete, modern instrumentation package without sacrificing the OEM look.
Every effort has been put into matching OEM design elements for layout, face styling, and indicators, so at a casual glance the system appears to be original equipment. Once activated, the full LED backlighting reveals a striking array of user-selectable color options for a truly custom appearance, day or night.
CNC machined housings are filled with in-house designed and built electronics, and the system utilizes a central control box along with a high-definition TFT message center that can be configured to display a wide range of vehicle information. This system uses the OEM bezel, which is not included.
