Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-51C-X RTX Instrument System is a direct bolt-in replacement gauge cluster engineered specifically for the 1951-52 Chevy car dashboard, using stock hardware and stock gauge openings. Each system begins with a billet aluminum gauge bezel, custom designed to follow the factory dash contour, then chrome plated for a clean, finished appearance.
The RTX series recreates the timeless look of the original instrument layout while adding modern features such as LED backlighting, stepper motor needle movements, and a full-color TFT message center. RPM is displayed through a series of LEDs that wrap around the outside of the speedometer scale, giving the cluster a distinctive late-model touch without sacrificing its classic appearance.
CNC-machined housings are filled with electronics designed and built in-house by Dakota Digital, and the system is operated through a central control box that simplifies installation and setup. The high-definition TFT message center can be configured to display a wide range of vehicle information to suit the owner's preferences.
