Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-53F-PU-K is a complete HDX instrument system engineered specifically for the 1953-55 Ford Pickup, featuring a black alloy gauge face. A new bezel is milled from a solid block of aluminum to fit the stock trapezoid-shaped dash opening exactly, then chromed and fitted with six analog instruments and a large TFT message center.
Included sensors allow this system to monitor your choice of drivetrain components. Calibration and personal settings are manipulated through the built-in, capacitive-touch buttons, or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. With the included central control box, installation is simplified using vehicle-harness sourced signals and supplied, solid state sending units that connect cleanly to their respective terminals.

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: Replaces Ford and/or GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness; sensor requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction (part number 130011 available separately for relocating the pulse generator when additional clearance is required)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed to suit the application
- Gear Position indicator requires the optional GSS-3000 sensor, sold separately
