Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-53C-VET-K is a direct-fit instrument system engineered specifically for 1953-57 Chevy Corvette applications. This high-tech, feature-rich 7 gauge kit (including clock) slides directly into the OEM gauge openings and includes new chrome bezels for a clean, factory-style installation.
Featuring a black alloy gauge-face styling, the HDX system offers twin TFT message centers and the ability to connect to nearly any engine/transmission combination. Users can independently select illumination colors for the gauge readings, needles, and message centers, with calibration and personal settings managed through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices.
Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons. All HDX instrument systems feature dead-faced indicators and a red, settable warning light for each gauge, with a central control box that simplifies installation using vehicle-harness sourced signals and supplied solid state sending units.

Included Sensors

- Oil Pressure: 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with a 10 ft harness
- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator replacing GM style speedometer cables, with a 10 ft harness; requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction
- Bushings for 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT, plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- Gear Position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor (sold separately)
- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows for relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required; Tremec and Ford style adaptors available on request
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- If on-the-fly rotary dimmer control is desired, the DIM-1 accessory can be added
