Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-54C-PU-K is a custom-machined billet aluminum HDX instrument system designed to fit the stock dash of 1954 and 1955 First Series Chevy pickups (not GMC applications). This system features a black alloy gauge face and replaces outdated instrumentation with a tailor-made upgrade, eliminating the need for adapter rings or compromised installations. Supplied mounting hardware makes installation straightforward.
The system includes six analog instruments paired with twin TFT message centers, offering independently selectable illumination colors for gauge readings, needles, and message center displays. Calibration and personal settings are controlled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Needle hubs are black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the button finish.
Installation is simplified through a central control box that uses vehicle-harness sourced signals along with supplied, solid-state sending units that connect cleanly to their respective terminals.
