Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-55C-PU-K is a complete HDX instrument system engineered specifically for 1955-59 Chevy pickup trucks (does not fit GMC). This V-shaped cluster retains the classic factory look while delivering modern digital technology, featuring a single TFT display at center that allows the driver to view exactly the information desired. This version comes with black gauge-face styling.
Each HDX system allows the user to independently select illumination colors for the gauge needles, sweeps, and message center displays. Calibration and personal settings are controlled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Needle hubs are black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons.
Installation is simplified through a central control box that sources signals from the vehicle harness and uses supplied solid-state sending units that connect cleanly to their respective terminals. The system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel, which is not included.

- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- Bezel not included; system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- Gear Position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor (sold separately)
- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required
- DIM-1 is a common accessory for on-the-fly rotary brightness control (sold separately)
- GPS-50-2 may be used to eliminate the need for speedometer calibration
