The Dakota Digital RTX-58C-IMP-X RTX Instrument System faithfully recreates the stock 1958 Chevy full-size car instrument cluster while adding the late-model features drivers want today. The long, sweeping speedometer look is preserved, with a hidden tachometer, voltmeter, and oil pressure display located just under the speedometer sweep. Full-color TFT message centers are positioned just inside the OEM-appearing turn signals on each end of the cluster.
The RTX series focuses on retaining the factory appearance without sacrificing modern functionality. Dakota Digital's engineers incorporated OEM design elements for layout, face styling, and indicators so that a casual glance may mistake this system for original equipment—until the LED backlighting comes on in your chosen color scheme.
CNC-machined housings are filled with in-house designed and built electronics. The high-definition TFT message centers can be fully configured to display a wide range of information, and a central control box simplifies installation and setup. This system requires your stock instrument housing and front bezel trim (OEM or reproduction style) for installation; the bezel is not included.

Included Sensors
- Water Temperature: 1/8" NPT ground-isolated sensor with 10 ft harness
- Oil Pressure: 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with 10 ft harness
- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness; requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- Requires your stock instrument housing and front bezel trim (OEM or reproduction style) for installation; bezel is not included
- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required; Tremec and Ford style adaptors available on request
- Gear Position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- Calibration is performed via the included pushbutton switch or remote Bluetooth app
