Description
The Dakota Digital RTX-63C-IMP-X RTX Instrument System brings late-model technology to the 1963 Chevy Impala, Bel Air and Biscayne while retaining the factory instrument cluster look. Built upon the original OEM layout, face styling and indicator placement, this system adds LED backlighting, full color-changing capability and TFT message centers for a package that looks stock at a glance but delivers modern functionality at the flip of a switch.
This system works with the vehicle's stock steel front bezel (not supplied) and is compatible with engine combinations ranging from a 283 to a twin turbo LS3. CNC machined housings house electronics designed and built in-house by Dakota Digital, and the high-definition TFT message centers can be configured to display a wide range of vehicle information. A central control box simplifies installation and setup.
Note: Cars equipped with factory A/C will require modifications to the stock gauge bezel ductwork.

Included Sensors
- Water Temperature: 1/8" NPT ground isolated sensor with a 10 ft harness
- Oil Pressure: 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with a 10 ft harness
- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness; requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction (Part # 130011, sold separately, allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT, plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 thread bushings
