Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-59C-IMP-K is a direct-fit HDX instrument system designed for 1959-60 Chevy Impala models, featuring a black alloy gauge face. Engineered to install directly into the stock dash housing, this system replaces the original cast pods with six analog sweep gauges plus a large, full-color TFT message center, bringing modern instrumentation to the classic dash while retaining a factory appearance.
The HDX system allows independent illumination color selection for gauge readings, needles, and the message center, with calibration and settings controlled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons. A central control box simplifies installation by sourcing signals from the vehicle harness and connecting supplied, solid-state sending units cleanly to their respective terminals.
This system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel; the bezel is not included and is shown for visual/presentation purposes only.

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness; requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- Bezel not included; system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- Gear Position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor (sold separately)
- Part # 130011 (sold separately) allows relocation of the pulse generator when additional clearance is required; Tremec and Ford style adaptors available on request
