Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-63C-IMP-K brings 21st-century instrumentation to the 1963-64 Chevy Impala (also fits Biscayne and Bel Air) with a black alloy gauge-face styling. This bolt-in HDX system combines six analog, sweep-needle gauges with a full-color, fully-configurable TFT message center, placing a wealth of information right at the driver's fingertips.
Each HDX system allows independent selection of illumination colors for the gauge readings, needles, and message center display. Calibration and personal settings are manipulated through the built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Needle hubs are black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the control buttons.
Installation is simplified through a central control box that uses vehicle-harness sourced signals along with supplied, solid-state sending units that connect cleanly to their respective terminals. Note: the bezel is not included; the system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel. Cars with factory A/C will require modifications to the stock gauge bezel ductwork.
