Description
The Dakota Digital HDX-61C-IMP-K is a direct-fit HDX instrument system designed for 1961-62 Chevy Impala applications, featuring black alloy gauge-face styling. This system eliminates the need to modify the dashboard for a set of round gauges, including new chrome housings and bezels for the round gauges while reusing the factory rectangular speedometer trim piece.
Twin TFT message centers allow the driver to view pertinent vehicle information at any time while retaining the classic look of the era. Each HDX system allows independent selection of illumination colors for gauge readings, needles, and message centers, with calibration and personal settings managed through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices.
Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the buttons. The system uses an OEM or reproduction style bezel; bezel is not included.

Included Sensors

- Oil Pressure: 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with 10 ft harness
- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness; requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction (Part # 130011 sold separately for relocation when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT bushings, plus bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads
Notes
- Bezel not included; system uses OEM or reproduction style bezel
- Gear Position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
