The Dakota Digital RTX-61L-X Instrument System brings a rich, OEM-inspired look to the 1961-63 Lincoln Continental, a car once dubbed "The Best Looking American Built Car Today." New chromed aluminum bezels are included and provide a perfect fit for the stock three-piece dash assembly, preserving the car's original character while delivering modern capability.
The RTX series is Dakota Digital's latest instrument platform, designed to retain the stock appearance without sacrificing late-model features. Careful attention was paid to OEM design elements in layout, face styling, and indicators, so the gauges appear factory-original until the LED backlighting is switched on in a custom color scheme. CNC-machined housings are filled with in-house designed electronics, and a high-definition TFT message center can be configured to display a wide range of information. A central control box simplifies installation and setup.
This system requires permanent modification to the inside of the stock instrument cluster to provide clearance for the new instrumentation. Stock housings and the mounting plate are not included, and the installation mounting manual should be reviewed for specific details.

- Cable Driven Speed Sensor/Generator: replaces Ford and/or GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness; requires approximately 5" clearance between the cable drive output and any obstruction (Part # 130011 sold separately for relocating the pulse generator when additional clearance is needed)
- Bushings: 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT, plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 thread bushings

Notes

- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- DIM-1 is a common accessory for adding on-the-fly rotary brightness control
- GPS-50-2 can be used to eliminate the need to calibrate the speedometer
