The Dakota Digital HDX-65F-MUS-K is a direct-fit HDX instrument system engineered for the 1965-66 Ford Mustang, featuring a black alloy gauge face. This system combines six analog gauge sweeps with a full-color TFT message center, delivering a modern, highly customizable instrument cluster that connects cleanly to your drivetrain, whether it's an original 289 or a swapped 5.0L Coyote.
Each HDX system allows independent illumination color selection for gauge readings, needles, and the message center display. Calibration and personal settings are handled through built-in capacitive-touch buttons or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices. Needle hubs are black nickel-plated spun aluminum to match the control buttons.
Installation is simplified with a central control box that sources signals from the vehicle harness and uses supplied solid-state sending units that connect cleanly to their respective terminals. The system is designed to work with an OEM or reproduction style bezel.

Notes
- Bezel not included; system is designed to use an OEM or reproduction style bezel
- Not all OEM indicator lamp functions will be replaced; unused indicators may be repurposed as needed
- Gear Position indicator requires optional GSS-3000 sensor
- DIM-1 is a common accessory for adding on-the-fly rotary brightness control
